Default Unattended Zimbra upgrades

Is it possible to automatically upgrade Zimbra without user interaction? Can I just upgrade the Zimbra RPM packages with newer ones? Or is it mandatory to run the interactive installation script?

no, you cannot just run rpm upgrades, it's absolutely mandatory to run the install script. it would be nice to have an option to run it unattended, but due to it's complexity and the chance for things to go horribly wrong, thoroughly unadvisable.

Ok, that's what I thought. I suppose this could be fixed by making the RPM's more intelligent, but it'd take a lot of work.

Thanks
