Zimbra Portlet Question...

I myself am more of SysAdmin than Developer, but I thought this would be the right forum to ask in. I read on the Top Projects page that a Zimbra AJAX Portlet is being worked on. This would be very helpful for us, since we are currently working on putting a portal in place here. Does anyone have any idea as to when we can expect to see some of the Portlet features?

Top projects is a list of items we think the community could tackle. They vary in difficulty but all are standalone enough to be developed outside zimbra.
