GroupDAV Support

Hey Guys,

Will Zimbra ever support the GroupDAV Protocol? its a brilliant idea they have going at http://www.groupdav.org/ you guys should check it out.

if zimbra supported GroupDAV it would be so awesome for transporting all sorts of information between Groupware servers.

Imagine Synchronization too, just like how there is an IMAPSYNC to transfer all email information between IMAP Servers you could have a "groupwareSync" program that could synchronize all Groupware information like Contacts, Calendars, Scheduals, Projects, Tasklists, WHATEVER!

anybody consider this for zimbra?

We are aware of it and are watching. At this time the client support is limited at best. Once some more clients are available we'll take a harder look. In general our server would have no problem supporting this. It's just another format/protocol.

Thunderbird has support for GroupDAV with this Plugin.
