Default [SOLVED] Tigase code used in Zimbra project

Hi,

I am the Tigase Server project maintainer.

I have found Tigase source code files taken from the project and copied to the Zimbra source repository. Also the license and authorship information has been changed.
While the Tigase is an open source project and I have no objections with using my code in other project I must insist to preserve the GPLv3 license and original authorship information.

At least 2 files have been directly copied and are identical (except Javadoc) with files from the Tigase source code repository approx 2 years ago:
TLSWrapper and TLSStatus.

I haven't done extensive research to check how much code is used but I am sure someone from Zimbra team can do this.

Please contact me to resolve this.

with best regards,
Artur Hefczyc

Hi, this is just a public response to let you know that this thread is being read. As it's a formal issue, I cant make any comment at all, I just didnt want the thread to be lacking a response.

I know the relevent people in Zimbra are looking into this and I'm sure that they will speak with you if you reply directly to them.

Thanks.

With cooperation between the Tigase author and the Zimbra team the issue has been resolved. The source code in question has been sub-licensed by the Tigase project to Zimbra project free of charge.

I would like to say a big thank you to Tim Brennan who has taken care of this on the Zimbra side and thanks to him the issue has been resolved without much hassle.
