Default Insert Contacts in Zimbra

What is the fastest way to insert Contacts into Zimbra?
I have to pull contacts from an erp application and push them into Zimbra.
Can i use a Zimlet? Can i use Zimbra SOAP interface?
Where can i find informations and examples about this?
Thank you.

The fastest way is to get a .csv of your contact list go into preferences and underneath address book there is a section at the bottom where you can import the .CSV file

If you need to automate it, you can do a REST POST of a .csv or .vcf file.

Please do some searching first! You'd have found links like User Migration - Zimbra :: Wiki and updating via REST (and a REST update) » Zimbra :: Blog.

I have the same problem. I did read the 2 posts, but it doesn't work for me.
If I execute the curl command, then it complains that it cannot parse the file, but the file is Ok, because I can use it via the Web Client.

Besides that, I wanna use the REST interface from PHP. Using POST I have to use key:values pairs. What is the key to use for the vcard/csv/ics content to use.

How do I delete entries via REST? Is that possible at all?

I would have used SOAP, but I do not get that to work either. Most examples on the internet are about the admin interface only.

Regards,

Timo
