Default User Attributes (SOAP)

Hi

I'm trying to get access to some user attributes. In particular the country of the current user.
Requesting "GetInfoRequest" via soap gets me the language though, but I also need the country.
Where is this information stored and how can I find out myself where it is stored?

Many thanks!

I found "workCountry" under "SearchGalRequest", but the response looks like "Gernamy", "Romania" etc.
Where can I get a two character country code e.g. "DE" (Germany)

thanks!

One additional question...
Is there some sort of a current user session? This would make developing so much easier..
