    Default Reminders and Backups

    1. Am using fc4 and 301 open. Users are complaing about not having pop up calander reminders like outlook. I posted yesterday about users complaining about no 'new mail notifications'. UI features like these are very important to busy users who dont what to have to leave their processing apps all the time to see if they have mail.

    2. Is there backup facilities in the open version ? Veiwed a post that said to download network version if they wanted to backup. It that correct ?

You can get new mail notifications if you're using a pop3/imap client, you can also get an RSS feed if they have an aggregator or ticker on the desktop. I can't remember if this is planned for the webUI of Zimbra, a forum/wiki/bugzilla search should help.

Yes, that's correct. The Network Version provides for backup/restore of individual mailboxes etc. there is a script for backing-up the OSS version of Zimbra, have a search through the forums for it.
