Default General question about file access

Not sure if this is the appropriate forum, but I could find no other entitled 'General'.

I would like to deploy Zimbra in an environment which has 75 windows based clients.

Questions:
1) Are there any plans to create hooks into Samba to enable clients to browse files on local fileserver?
2) In a total Windows environment is the best option - a Zimbra hosted solution?

Thx in advance for your help.

If you have no linux experience at all then it's best to go hosted. You don't need to know much linux to run zimbra but if it's something you've never even played with it may better to try hosted. That said there are many folks here in the community who installed Linux for the first time to run Zimbra and are up and running fine. So if you want to learn then go ahead and try.

We don't come with samba out of the box but a few community members have got it working.
