Post Calendar feed requiring authentication... any way to disable?

Hello.

First, I must say Zimbra is kick-a$$ open-source!

Second, a question for you... we are using Zimbra for our organization. I want to use our shared calendar, call it SharedCal, to drive a web page of upcoming events.

Using the docs I see I can get a SharedCal RSS. Great.
http://myserver/zimbra/home/me/Share...ays&end=14days

But when I try to use to build the web page it requires authentication. I've even tried http://username:password@myserver/zi...ays&end=14days
but to no avail.

How can I make this work? Can I disable authentication for a calendar? Is anybody else using a calendar URL to drive a webpage? If so, how did you do it?

THANKS!

Default

It uses basic auth. So either users can enter the data or you can use an httpclient that supports http basic auth to grab the feed and publish it to a page.
