    Default Double Byte Char.

I know Zimbra using UTF-8 as encoding...but some double byte char...like Chinese still display trash at subject and body...will Zimbra have more improve on it? Like when I right-click the message body it is fixed/grey the UTF-8 and cannot change it.

JavaMail doesn't allow encoded-words not separated from the previous text by a space. (I assume that's what RFC 2047 says, but I'm not sure.) So if the Subject had been written as

    Fw: =?BIG5?B?IDQ2IK3TpKOlaaSjqr6qurFgw9E=?=

(note the space after the colon), it would have been properly displayed.

This message has problems, Dan made the following points:

The Subject claims that it's US-ASCII, not Chinese:

    Subject: =?us-ascii?Q?FW=3A_=24U=7C=2C=3FU=3F=5E=2DE=3FE_=3FO=3F o=3FY=3F?=
    =?us-ascii?Q?U=21?=

The body also claims it's US-ASCII:

    Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

The message *isn't* US-ASCII, but it explicitly claims to be. We're not second-guessing the charset at present.

=3D is just = that is encoded. Yes it refers to big5 but it's still not valid to represent that the mail is us-ascii when it's not.
