Default Integration with Zoho

Our school is using zimbra for all email right now, and we are looking to provide students with accounts. Our problem is that we want students to have access to online document suite like Google Docs or Zoho. Since Google is your competitor, Is there anything in the works to integrate with Zoho. Mostly I'd like to snyc the usernames between the two programs.

the lack of something equivalent to Google Apps in zimbra combined with the fact that google apps is free to school makes me really consider moving away from zimbra (however I'd perfer to stay).

So If there is anything on the road map for integration with zoho you have my vote, and I'd be interested in when it will be available.

Zimbra is a messaging and collaboration suite so I personally would not like it bloated with those type of applications. With respect to syncing the users how would you do it ? I do not see anything in the Zoho API to do that. You could always raise a RFE so that the Zimbra Project team know people would like this functionality (if people vote for it).

Out of interest what other messaging suites provide this functionality ?

Zimbra does have a documents feature. Documents and spreadsheets. It also has a briefcase feature for sharing documents created in third party apps.

Documents are an integral part of collaboration.

By the way, vote for bug 27820

I don't disagree Bill, but I do not believe that you could have a advanced productivity suite integrated into Zimbra without adversely effecting performance.
