[SOLVED] Link to Compose Email

Hi there, just wondering if zimbra has a sort of shortcut hyperlink to compose an email?

IE if i were to do http://myzimbraserver/compose?emailt...@somewhere.com which would automatically load the compose form with that email address in the TO box?

Would really be helpful with some development im doing.

Hi ,
Is there a modifed version of this URL that can open a new mail with the pre-filled email address whilst you already in zimbra .
If i click on that url within an email in zimbra it tries to create a new session within the same window but just hangs.


The idea was to set up some hyperlinks within a zimbra doucment whereby users could click on the link and it would pre-fill the recipient email address and subject.
