Default Pre-Login agreement

I haven't found anything related to this, so here we go:

The people I'm installing zimbra for would like to have some kind of "first login agreement" page, as in:

- Account is created with a temp password
- User gets on the zimbra web interface, login, and is faced with a standard "terms and conditions" page he has to agree upon if he wants to use his email account.
- Once validated, he's free to access his mailbox and the message will never show again.

Is there a way to implement such a thing inside zimbra, or should I just make quick php site that would do the check and some preauth?

Welcome to the forums

I am not aware of that feature in ZCS, so I would go down the route of what you have suggested.

Another hardy welcome to the forums,

Vote for / support ticket tag / cc watch this RFE: Bug 23813 - End user click splash/click through screen upon login

While not a click through, are you ok with putting a notice on the login page?:
Use of this system constitutes consent to these terms. (& provide a link)

Or spell it all out there as you desire - something like:
This collaboration suite and all data on the system are the exclusive property of __. Unauthorized access or use is prohibited and subject to appropriate sanctions including criminal prosecution.

It's more a case of: By validating this form I engage to not use this system for personal uses, etc. which will basically lie down a set of rules on which any user have to agree before actually accessing their mailbox for the first time.

Ok, I'm trying to go the external webapp way. Is there a way to make so that every new account is created in maintenance mode (or locked)? Or do you have to specify it manually every time?

The quickest and easiest way is i think to put a front webapp before zimbra! This app create the account present the terms and then hop you are redirected to the real login page.

thanks for your reply, however same as fconil , we need user login first then show the terms page, once user agree, the terms page will never show again....
so maybe you suggestion is not totally fit...
