Setting up a Zimbra development environment

Hello,
I tried to set up a Zimbra development environment but I can't do it
I follow this guide http://www.zimbra.com/blog/archives/...ping_with.html
with this release zcs-5.0.0_BETA3_1276
and I was stopped in this level "make dev-install" where I have got this message
root@abdelmonam-desktop:/home/abdelmonam/zcs-src/ZimbraBuild# make dev-install
/home/abdelmonam/zcs-src/ZimbraBuild/defs/globals.def:53: *** commands commence before first target. Stop.

Any idea? any help?
