Search Zimbra mail from external apps...

Hi I am evaluating Zimbra as the email client for a travel reservation system that we have developed.

I am not a developer so please bear with me... If am am on a customer in our travel system I would like to quickly show a list of all the emails that we have from that person.

Is this possible? Can it be done using RSS, or linking do a URL with a search criteria in the string?

If there are existing post that cover this please point me in the right direction....

You can search via the REST interface, have a look at this wiki article - that should give you an idea of the search capabilities. The answer really depends on what you want to do.

If I wanted to search lets say everybody's mailbox for all emails to or from a certain email address would I be able to do this using REST?
