    What are you trying to integrate? It really depends on what you want to do and what is possible on your other application.
    Looking for new beta users -> Co-Founder of Acompli. Previously worked at Zimbra (and Yahoo! & VMware) since 2005.

    The login username and password?

    I hope you're kidding. That would be horribly insecure, which is why it's not supported.

    Read the zimlet spec - I don't think this is impossible, but it is a bad idea.

    I can tell you that you won't be able to get the password, since we don't store plaintext passwords in the system, just a hashed version.

    Default Thanx buddy Sanjit here again

    Hi buddy,
    Your point is quite logical.Please tell me how to get the userid
    atleast.Actually very frank to u I stucked at one point.I am able to call
    a 3rd party content management system called livelink which resides on
    other server running on windows and while the zimbra server is running on a
    linux machine.But i wrote a zimlet for that where I hardcoded the userid and
    password like

    Inside
    <contextMenu>
    <menuItem label="Login" id="LOGIN" />
    <menuItem label="Preferences..." id="PREFERENCES" />
    <menuItem />
    <menuItem label="Visit LiveLinkSuccess Site" id="www.LiveLink.com">
    <canvas type="window" title="Integration of Zimbra to live link"
    width="800" height="300"/>
    <actionUrl method="post" target="http://machineIP/LiveLink/LiveLink.exe">
    <param name="func">LL.login</param>
    <param name="Username">Zimbra</param>
    <param name="Password">Zimbra</param>
    </actionUrl>
    </menuItem>
    </contextMenu>

    Can't you just set up a preferences dialog and have the user enter the information? There are examples of that in the zimlets we ship.
