Default SOAP Request/Response for User Authentication does not exist

Hello,

There does not seem to be any SOAP request/response for ordinary user authentication.

Although this is available for Administrator authentication.

Am i missing something, or why should authentication for a user not be provided as a SOAP request/response?

Thanks

There's an AuthRequest in the urn:zimbraAdmin namespace and a different AuthRequest in the urn:zimbraAccount namespace. You want the latter.

The auth token is valid for its lifetime, and there is no way to invalidate it. You can control the default auth token lifetime by setting zimbraAuthTokenLifetime on the account or COS. (zimbraAdminAuthTokenLifetime is used for admin tokens.)
