Extending Reminders and Alerts

I would love to see a feature added to Zimbra to allow more than minutes to be the time between being reminded of an upcoming event. How about a month? 27 days? I think the ability to make a reminder redundant...maybe to let someone know "You better get this report done in 5 days". Also, implement this notification with Zimbra Toaster...to have it notify just like it does with Emails. Maybe this feature is already available...but from my tests, I haven't had it inform me of any upcoming events...I have to be logged into Zimbra to see them. What do you all think?

Bug 8854 - Support flexible alarm schedules for calendar appointments
Bug 15146 - add calendar reminders with units = days
Bug 9902 - Appointment Reminder is very static.
Bug 12740 - Toaster should also show Appointment reminders
