Calendar/Task REST Queries?

I am trying to get tagged tasks using the REST interface but it does not seem to work. For example if I try:

https://myserver.com/service/home/userAccount/tasks?query=tag:Important

I get an empty list.
If I leave off the query, all the tasks are returned.
If I use an undefined tag, I get an error.
I have reviewed rest.txt and soap.txt. It does not seem clear that calendar or tasks would not support tagged queries like the mailbox.

Can tasks or calenders be filtered or queried via REST or do I have to use SOAP?
