Default caldav task support

Hello. I've searched the forums and wiki but I haven't come across an answer to this question. I recently installed the open source edition and we're trying to get thunderbird to connect to the calendar and tasks via caldav. The calendar works fine, but the tasks don't seem to be shared properly (can't create tasks on the web interface and view them on the thunderbird client and vice versa). Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps this question would be best moved to the Admin section of the forums? Anyone else have any luck getting a caldav client (thunderbird or otherwise) to utilize task lists properly, or perhaps going through the other methods aside from ICS?

Here's some additional background information:

We've been testing with Mozilla Lightning and Sunbird 0.8. We can subscribe to calendars via CalDAV using the URL http://server/dav/user/Calendar/, and appointments appear properly both on the client and in the Zimbra web interface. We cannot view tasks, and we cannot subscribe to http://server/dav/user/Tasks/ since that is not detected as a valid CalDAV store. Lighting reports, "The resource at http://server/dav/user/Tasks/ is a DAV collection but not a CalDAV calendar."

Does anyone have any updated info for this problem? My users with Outlook love the Task management feature but my Thunderbird users can not see any Task created in the web client. This is using CalDav as the resource type.

Hi,

I've had some task success in Lightning by adding the tasks URL as a shared Ical calendar. I know it doesn't make sense really...but it seems to work. I get two way sync and editing capablility, entries made in Lightning or Zimbra web client show up in the other...

I tried adding tasks only calendar(link: https://server/home/user@server/Tasks)
but it does nothing.
Any update, new setting or something?

The URL I used is

https://server/home/user/Tasks

I got this from the Zimbra web client, Tasks, right-click the task list you want to set-up, select share, copy the URL at the bottom of the share dialog box.
