SOAP and locale

Hi, I'm wondering how to get at non- en_US locale data via SOAP.

For example, I'd like to get at the french equivalent of "Emailed Contacts" - "Personnes contactées par mail".

Here's what I tried:
1. on the server:
zmprov ma user@example.com zimbraPrefLocale fr_FR
2. on the client via soap:
<SyncRequest>
... but the response contains:
<folder id="13" name="Emailed Contacts" ... </folder>

Is it possible to get "Personnes contactées par mail" via SOAP?

the system folders will always be returned in en-us.

How would a soap client go about getting the translation?

the ZWC localization files are under ZimbraWebClient\WebRoot\messages

Is there a soap request to get at these files?

I have a soap client and I would like to know how to go about asking the Zimbra server what the translation for "Emailed Contacts" is in the user's locale.

those are source files available in our repository which identify the mappings. you'll have to map the english name to the locale specific name on the client side of your app. search the forums/wiki for how to get at the public p4 cache.
