Default creating new account

Hi

I am trying to figure out what do I need to do if I want to create a new user account via SOAP.
In the documentation available I found that I have to use the following:
<CreateAccountRequest>
<name>...</name>
<password>...</password>*
<a n="attr-name">...</a>+
</CreateAccountRequest>

And my doubt comes, where do I set user detail information, stored in LDAP? Which information LDAP needs? Password, username and something else?
When user information like telephone changes, how do I inform LDAP?
What this tag <a n="attr-name">...</a>+ means?

Thanks in advance
Ada

The absolute best way to do this is to use firebug and watch the traffic go back and forth.

Thanks for your comment, but I do not see how to match it with my questions.
I still have the same doubts
