apointment duration or end time once upgraded to 4.5.9

I upgraded to 4.5.9 over the weekend, and now our third party app integration is not working for calendar items.

We found during our testing that duration is not working properly, and there is a bug open for that, so we switched to end time,

So we have

Which was working on 4.5.6, but now on 4.5.9 it is creating the appointment fine, but when we look at the zimbra calendar, it is a zero length appt.

If we retrieve the appointment with soap, it says the correct end time, so is something not right in the web client?
