Default 25 for gentoo until now

25 for gentoo until now. Puts it op as number 2 just after Debian, and still not on the poll.

Don't think that a bin installer is needed for the gentoo folks, just a little how to wood do it.

Call me clueless (in this matter I most certainly am!), but what's so different about all these linux distros?

As a non-linux user ( FreeBSD here for the last 8 years, BSDI before that ), I just don't see the problem.

My vote, as you'll have guessed, is for FreeBSD, OpenBSD, or *BSD for that matter.

In most cases it's packaging/installer. In some cases it's location of libs in precompiled binaries. So minor stuff but since we ship a simple easy all inclusive system these things matter.

Default OpenBSD

FreeBSD would be okay, but OpenBSD is the only way to go. Linux is a mess right now. Five years ago Linux might have been okay.

Default I would love to see a port for Mandriva.

I would love to see a port for Mandriva as I use it for other applications already.
