Default Zimbra Osx Dev Install?

I am following the "INSTALL-SVN-MAC.txt" and "INSTALL-mac-intel.txt" docs.

I downloaded the "zcs-5.0.0_BETA3_1277-3rdParty-src.tar"

I'm not sure how to get Zimbra to build with LDAP...

I guess I need to upgrade sleepycat with hte 3rd Party src files.

Not sure how to do this.

Can I install the full binary version of Zimbra first? Then make my changes to the Zimbra server, compile and replace the updated server in the full install?

Trying to get together a good dev process.

Thanks

Take a look at the thirdparty tgz that the Zimbra folks recently made available. That should make this easier.

It sounds like he's already downloaded it - that's the name of the file.

I've downloaded it as well and am trying to build it on Solaris. I've gotten everything in ThirdParty/Makefile to build, but there are some pieces not listed in there (e.g. nginx, memcached, jetty, etc) that I still have to figure out.

I haven't gotten this far yet, so this is entirely hypothetical, but it should be possible to just build the java components and copy them into an existing (development!) server without needing to build all of the 3rdparty stuff, unless of course you want to customize the 3rd party pieces.
