Default Open zimbra calendar event detail using preauth feature

Hi,

I want to do something like this:

On click of a link, open zimbra web client in new browser window and show the event detail. (I would be passing the eventId etc to zimbra through request parameters.)

I'm able to open zimbra calendar through this way.

Any suggesstions how can i tell zimbra web client to show event detail window by default?

Thanks
Mukil

You can access a application automatically by appending &app=calendar to the URL string. If you have the ID, you can pull the event up using the REST interfaces.

Thanks for you reply.

REST interface opens only the specified event. Following URl opend me a single event. http://localhost:7070/zimbra/home/user1/?id=353

But I like to open it in Zimbar web client window. (ie) The event is shown in zimbra web client view and the user should be able to navigate to other applications (ex: mail, contacts etc) from the same window.

http://localhost:7070/zimbra/mail?app=calendar&id=353&auth=0_88a2c056ef61cdbc7142abba04..... doesn't show the event details.

Any suggestions?

Tanks,
Mukil
