List view in MAIL

Why the mail list view is so strange? the Inbox cannot have "To" field. Sent box have no "From" field. If I create folders under Sent box (bcoz I want to classify the sent mail), the Listview only shows the "From" field but no "To" field, do you think this is stupid.

Welcome to the forums,

I know the subfolder of sent issue has been brought up a bunch - actually the RFE is here: Bug 11729 - Subfolders in Sent show "From" column instead of "to"

There will eventually be options to turn on and off individual columns.
It is most likely that these requests/issues have already been put into bugzilla.
Many are possibly planned for the 5.0 release, if not, be sure to add your vote to the RFEs/Bugs.
