I apologize if it's mentioned somewhere already.
Zimbra does not seem to forward meeting requests today, is that true ? if so, is it in the works ?

I'm not sure what you mean. Can you better explain what you're looking for?
so if A sends a meeting request to B, in some systems, outlook/exchange for example, B can forward the meeting request to C and C can option to join the meeting. Seems to me that Zimbra is forwarding to C as a regular mail so the calenaring/scheduling is not done automatically (mark as busy, accept, reject....etc)
Gotcha. Right. I was confused for a minute b/c I was thinking about this from the server's perspective -- the server side of this does work, if you *receive* a fwded invite it is accepted and we do the right thing -- but we don't let you actually fwd the invite in the web client.
I'll add a feature request on this -- but I'm not convinced it is a good feature. I know the RFC explicitly allows for this, but I think many users will find this to be a bad thing -- they may only want the organizer to be allowed to invite people.
I've added bug 4940 on this issue.
Hi all,
I just switched to Zimbra for corporate email and within a day or so noticed this feature was not there.
As a long time Exchange users, this is an important feature that I would like to have added -- I notice the bug number.
As you expand your product into corporate users, this will be a feature that they want.
We got off to a bit of a rocky start in the migration but now things are working well with the product.
Keep up the good work,
Mike
