Default Good javascript documentation

Is there good/adequate Javascript documentation as to what functions or variables are required/available? I have looked over some of the examples and there are some grungy looking functions that don't seem to have any sort of explanations. If I missed something on the website, please just call me a lazy whatever and point me towards the documentation. Cheers.

Take a look here:
SourceForge.net Repository - [zimbra] Index of /trunk/ZimbraServer/docs
and see if that helps any.

To be honest, that is not really helpful. Having to look through dozens of throw together disorganized files is not an adequate substitute for an API or development documentation. I have seen this complaint before as well. <rant>One of Zimbra's selling points is that it is extensible and you can write zimlets for it, but how does somebody go about that without any sort of docs?</rant>

Maybe I will start a new thread with the specific question I am trying to ask as opposed to trying to find the answer myself.

Yeah that may be the best approach. The docs are not perfect or as rich as we'd like but that hasn't stopped people from creating some amazing Zimlets. Firebug and a good JavaScript IDE make things much easier.

2 new threads started under Zimlets forum:

Zimlet interaction with message body

Adding taskbar (for lack of a better term)

Thanks for all of your help!
