postfix build error while building Zimbra source

Hi all,
I am a newcomer into the Zimbra world .I have downloaded the source from cvs and trying to build it on a Redhat Linux machine .I am referring to the build_cvs_howto.txt for the build instructions. I am facing errors for the postfix build in ThirdParty .I am using Postfix version 2.2.5.
The error is regarding postconf command ::
Error: no /opt/zimbra/postfix-2.2.5/sbin/postconf command found
Re-run this command as /opt/zimbra/postfix-2.2.5/conf/post-install
command_directory=/some/where.

I have attached the stacktrace. Please help ASAP.

Firstly, cvs is out of date. Download latest source code from sourceforge releases - you should see a tarball alongside the binary packages.

I think latest postfix is 2.2.9 for zimbra.

BTW the latest of postfix also throws the same error. It turns out that the install script needs to be changed. the command is not being called with the right command directly being specified. I was able to get this to work.

I got the latest code from sourcefourge. However, I dont see any of the ThirdParty makefiles here. How do I get them?

The problem is that the install script calls post-install without specifying the command directory (where the command postconf is located) in some places.

Once I hit the error, I simply ran the command

/opt/zimbra/postfix-2.2.5/conf/post-install command_directory=/location/of/postconf upgrade-source

and then did a

make tar

To complete the build process for postfix.

After this I continued with the rest of the build and found that there were no problems with postfix once the zimbra install happened.
Try this and let me know if you hit problems.

Worked great. I'm actually working on compiling zcs in Ubuntu 64 and have been writing a script to automate much of it. It inserts a line into the PostFix Makefile to alter the postfix-install file:

sed -i 's/bin\/postfix post-install/$$config_directory\/post-install/' postfix-install; \

That way I can let it run with no manual intervention...
