Default OSX Lion Address Book: Switching from iCloud to Zimbra Carddav

    Hi all,

We run 7.2.0_GA_2669 for a very heterogenous community project. Our Mac OSX Lion users can connect to Zimbra via CardDAV with no problems. Some of them now want to use Zimbra's CardDAV service for all their syncing. Does anybody know of a way to transfer all contacts from the "On my Mac" account (which some users currently sync via iCloud to other devices) into the CardDAV account? It seems Apple only allows this for contacts which are freshly created.

    Thanks, Andreas

Might try exporting them all out of address book (either use the export command or I believe you can drag items out of AB into the Finder). Then import them back in.

I feel a bit stupid for not having thought of that - will try, thanks for the hint!
