Default URL for Adressbook

Hi,

I'm looking for the correct URL to use with Apple Adressbook (10.6.x or 10.7.x), as everything I tried so far does not work or load anything.

I know that https://yourserver.com/dav/user@domain.com/Calendar & https://yourserver.com/dav/user@domain.com/Tasks is for Calendar & Tasks, but could not find anything related to Contacts, without using the DMG Plugin which will be discontinued.

Thanks!

Looks like this is really an active forum....

In the meantime I tried different things, all around the Contact URL I've got from the webinterface, but still no luck yet:

http://yourserver.com/home/account@domain/Contacts

With and without http(s), user account with @domain.com and without, but still the Adressbook is not able to connect to the server wķth CardDav.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

CardDAV access to Zimbra under Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) is broken on the Apple's side. Don't waste time on it as it won't work.

Running 10.7 Lion though it should be pretty straight forward:
  1. Open System Preferences
  2. Go to 'Accounts'
  3. Select 'other account' at the bottom of the list
  4. select 'CardDAV' account
  5. enter user name, password and the hostname of your server

This should create a new account in Address Book with everything defined properly.

This kind of stinks... Lion is the worst version OSX to date and SL was great and fast. Everything works better on SL.

Except... CardDav on AddressBook... But hoping for an update from Apple to fix this sounds in vein now that they are trying to get everyone to downgrade to Lion...
