Default iSync v4.1.330

I installed the new iSync release this morning and it trashed my iCal database. I no longer have any of my calendars in iCal, although they do exist on Zimbra, so I'm not freaking out (yet).

Here is the log message from Console:
2006-10-06 09:30:50.173 ZimbraHelper[249] SyncServices precondition failure in [ISyncConcreteSession pushChange:]: you can't modify a record that doesn't exist: <ISyncChange 0x660740>{ modify record id 'com.zimbra.syncservices:f7d3c15e-52cd422e-96f20cd-423ef24a'

UPDATED: I did the 'Reset Sync Data...' and selected 'delete info on my mac' and that seems to have fixed things for now.

After you installed and were doing the initial sync, do you remember if you clicked 'Cancel' or 'Don't Allow' on any of the dialog boxes that popped up?

Default My Workaround

I finally got this to work by renaming my Mac iCal caldar from "Personal" to "Calendar". Suddenly, things synced.

I would love to use the new version, but do not have access to the support site (I am a Zimbra user through my ISP). If someone can send me the new connector, I will give it a go.

Thanks!

-Brian

You need to get the connector from the company that provides the service to you, they should have access to the support portal. We can't give you the connector here.

Fair enough. Will do.

FYI, My ISP is Simply Mail Solutions.
They did an excellent job setting up my Zimbra account.
