Calendar items specified as MONTHLY are syncing to Mac Cal as WEEKLY

I have been having weird sync issues with items I create, and I think I've found how to reproduce.

I create an item in my Zimbra AJAX calendar to run on Sunday at 2AM, and repeat Monthly, on the 1st Sunday of each month, for a duration of 6 months.

What gets synced to Mac Calendar is run on Sunday at 2AM, and repeat EVERY SUNDAY, for the next 6 weeks.

Anyone else see this? It's screwing. If I modify in Mac Calendar then it gets synced back to Zimbra, and my AJAX calendar is ALL screwed up.
