Default Ical & Webdav

ical - Syncs fine on changes made on Zimbra in the cloud (or client).

ical - Does not sync changes made in ical.

I have deleted all ical directories/preferences etc in case the issue was with ical.

Currently I am only using the zimbra mac client as ical cannot be relied upon.

The reason I want to use ical is that

1. It renders the appointments such that they are all visible which is not the case when viewing multiple calendars in Zimbra web/client.
2. Has a time line

I'm running Running Leopard 10.5.8 - Will snow Leopard cure the issue??

Any one else having a similar issue?

iCal works fine here, apart from some glitches that do not sound like what you're describing. We have both Snow Leopard and Leopard clients; ZCS is version 5.0.20.

What version of ZCS are you using?

My experience is that iCal has a lot of associated directories/preferences (or at least, it's easy to overlook some of them). So you might try creating a brand new account on your Mac and then reconfiguring iCal under that account, so you'll be starting totally fresh.

Hi - I am using CALDAV, as opposed to ZCS - Do you advise that I move over to ZCS?

I have given ical a fresh start.

Thanks,

Jonathan

ZCS is the server. I'm asking you the version of the Zimbra server that you're connecting to.

You may be getting ZCS mixed up with the Zimbra iSync connector. However, if you are using Leopard (MacOS 10.5) then it doesn't really matter to iCal if you install the iSync connector or not. All it does is configure your CalDAV setup for you.

I dug up a list of files/directories which I've deleted in the past to clear up issues; this might help: http://www.zimbra.com/forums/isync-c...rors-ical.html
