Where did iSync calendar syncing go?

Hi,

I am an end user, so please forgive me if I ask stupid questions.

I just installed the latest version of the zimbra isync connector on Leopard. Now all my calendar syncing with iCal is gone and has been replaced by CalDav syncing.

Result: My iCal calendars no longer show up in ZimbraCS. I can see my Zimbra calendars in iCal, but not the other way around.

How can I fix this?

Near as I can figure out, Zimbra has phased this out. The rational I think they are giving is that it is not needed with caldav in Leopard; which of course is not true as there are a number of issues regarding caldav that don't appear when isync is available. I still have iSync 5.0.2201 which works fine on 10.5.5 and zimbra 5.0.11 so I am okay for the time being. Zimbra also did not brag about removing a feature (It was in release notes but not made obvious) so nobody really knows unless they are a careful zimbra admin or a user that got burned after being promised that this feature was in Zimbra. Maybe your admin can find you a copy of the old iSync; the new ones are pointless as they just configure caldav for you but otherwise do nothing.
