Default iCal - shared calendars no edit but create

Hi there,

I'am running Zimbra 5.0.9 OSE, and I love it. But using the Calendars with iCal is giving me a hard time.

My account has 1 own calendar and 3 shared calendars (with admin/manager privileges). I can see all 4 in iCal, but I cannot edit any entries of the shared ones. I can create new entries in the shared calendars and edit them afterwards. But if they are changed within the WebGUI I cannot edit them anymore.

If I manage all 4 calendars within the WebGUI I don't have any issues, can edit/create/delete entries in all of them without any problem.

Is there already a solution for this issue, or is it by design?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I've been struggling with this issue for MONTHS. No one seems to have answers. You can edit the calendars in the web interface, but iCal doesn't seem to work right. I'm not sure why, but I've got this issue on an OSE on CentOS and Network Edition on Mac...they BOTH have had this issue since 5.0.6ish and every version since then.

Panda,

thanks for your reply ... this sounds not very promissing ... hopefullyt his is fixable ... because I love the combo Zimbra + iCAL.
