Question Not removing deleted appointments

Strange issue that seems to only affect Leopard?

ZCS 4.5.6 with iSync Connector v4.5.1750 on Leopard 10.5.2

Syncing Zimbra Calendar with iCal works fine for additions. However, when removing (deleting) an appointment from the webUI, changes are not reflected after sync on iCal. The old deleted appointments remain in iCal which lead to fake double bookings.

I've attempted to reset the sync data from the local machine, which always did the trick on Tiger - However, the old deleted appointments remain in iCal. The only way I can seem to get rid of them is to manually remove them.

If these are recurring events your trying to delete this may be Bug 24959 - delete of sub-entities cause spurious SetAppointment calls to server
However it's definitely time to get off 4.5.6 and at least onto 4.5.11, or better yet upgrade to 5.0.5 so you can make use of CalDav.
(I would do a upgrade to 4.5.11 then 5.0.5 as there's lots of tomcat/ldap changes after 4.5.6, so use 4.5.11 as a median point - and of course read the release notes and take backups before each upgrade.)

It sounds as though (from your reply) it's a problem we'll have to live with until we deploy 4.5.11. Thanks again.
