i have tried to move, delete etc. that item with that "invalid" item id but it is not possible to do so through zmmailbox.

How can i figure out, what kind of item it is and how can i resolve that problem?

we are running ZCS 5.0.4 at the moment.

    Thanks & best regards,
    Thomas

Are you creating sub calendars in iCal?

If so, I think this might be related to: Bug 15698 - Calendar sub-folder appears at sub-folder level and root level in Webmail

The user does not have any shared ressources. He is using the latest iSync Connector. The Zimbra Version is 5.0.9 NE.

How could I track the item (probably a Contact) that is causing the problem?

    Regards
    Thomas
