Default Deleting Emails in Entourage

Hello,

one of my users has the problem, that she can't delete mails in entourage anymore. If she marks a mail and selects "delete mail", obviously nothing happens in Entourage.

In Zimbra, the mail is moved to a special folder called "deleted objects".

If we delete a mail in the webfrontend, it is also deleted in Entourage.

Anybody who also experienced this phenomenom?

If you 'purge/empty trash' do they disappear?
Don't know what version your running but your looking for something like the following -
Several purge methods or assign to trash / empty after xdays etc:
Attached Images
File Type: jpg purge in entourage.jpg (72.8 KB, 450 views)

Hello,

also enabling the purge option doesn't help. The user is still not able to
delete any mail out of her entourage 2004.

Also by selecting "delete" via the menu doesn't help.

any other ideas?

Have you tried to select the offending "Folder" in Entourage and "Repair message list"? cmd, opt, L
I get this a few times a day, in addition to duplicate messages. This fixes it for me and many of our users.
I have looked for an actual fix, but have been unsuccessful. I am pretty unhappy with Entourage and would like to move our users to Apple Mail and iCal, or the webmail interface.
