Default New M2 ports Mac OSX and FC4

Pushed a couple new OSS binary builds. Mac OSX and Fedora Core 4. These have not had as much QA as the Fedroa 3 and Red Hat builds so any feedback will help us make these better.

The release notes have been updated as well.

You can get the builds here:

Default A note about the mac build

Our ports attempt, as far as possible, to use native packaging formats - which, on the mac, means the .pkg format. This gets you a fancy GUI installer (!) - but the configuration is the same. This means that after the install, you have to run the /opt/zimbra/libexec/zmsetup.pl script (as root). (This is all documented - you read the docs, right?).

Also, like the other systems, we're building on a pretty up-to-date box - so run software update before you install. The mac dependency checking isn't as robust as that of the RH platforms. (Though, in some ways, it doesn't have to be, since the Mac OS X OS install isn't as customizable).

That said - have fun with it, and definitely let us know if you run into any issues. The Mac codebase is THE SAME as the linux codebase - there are some conditionals in the scripts to work around OS differences, but that's it. (Anyone who wants to compare the 2 builds and post results, we'd love to see that information.)
