I'm doomed I guess. I'm getting an error installing the M2 after running the update script. While checking for prerequisites /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5...MISSING

So now I have a dependency hell?

Found it here. Problems with fresh open source installation

wget http://rpmfind.net/linux/fedora/core...3.4.2.i386.rpm will fix the problem. Then just install the rpm and re-run the zimbra m2 install.

OK. I fired up ldap manually, then ran zmcontrol start and everything works on both servers. Bug in the startup script?

I tried to start up ldap manually and it doesn't start. Same error. Any ideas?

If Zimbra cannot connect to LDAP, there are only a couple of possible options.

The most common is when you re-installed, zimbra's stored passwords got out of sync with mysql and/or LDAP

How I solved it was unstalling everything, and running a yum update...then installing agian.

That's what I'm trying. I hope it works, I have way too many hours into this now.

Default M2 Upgrade - HTTPS

I had M1 running on HTTPS only, and after the upgrade, it's running on HTTP only.

Is there a "zm" command to change this or does the HTTP/ssl conf file need changed?

Default upgrade. thanks.

zmtlsctl is what you're looking for.

--

thanks for getting this upgrade script out to us; before i go with it, i have a few questions.

1. is it specific to the Open Source version, or will it work for M1->M2/Network

2. we have confirmed success with this, right?

Also, a feature suggestion, something like POPFile, bayesian automatic classification (or suggestion) of "categories" for incoming mail. Something like, "Zimbra thinks this mail should be marked as School/Friends". Something else to differentiate you. Kinda.
