Thumbs up Zimbra Desktop Beta 1 released!

Zimbra Desktop goes from alpha to beta!
It now has built-in Prism, Ymail Plus, Gmail, & even support for most other IMAP & POP accounts!!!
Plus you no longer need to have a Zimbra server account as well - it can be totally standalone
With this release we're also one step closer to push email (/blog/archives/2007/12/why_we_switched_to_jetty.html)

Read this first: Zimbra Desktop - Zimbra :: Wiki
Then test-drive it here: http://www.zimbra.com/products/desktop.html

Quick Notes:
You must completely remove any prior versions including all downloaded data before installing 0.78 (aka beta 1).

Please see the tiny known issues section of the wiki article before posting about a feature that doesn't work
We welcome all the feedback we can get over at this forum section: http://www.zimbra.com/forums/zimbra-desktop/

The desktop team has been working hard to get out of the alpha stages - hope you enjoy this first beta release!
