We're happy to announce that the Zimbra Public Perforce Cache is just about ready to be opened up to the public. This cache is our newer version control system that opens up the Zimbra Open Source Edition source.
We are seeking a few testers to help us work out any bugs in the new system.
Building complex software like Zimbra from source is not for the faint of heart, and we're seeking experienced testers who are proficient at troubleshooting, as well as building software.
Experience with Perforce is a plus.
In particular, we would like users who are running the following Operating Systems:
- Mac OS X (10.4 and/or 10.5) (Intel Only)
- Debian 4.0 (x86)
- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 x86
- Gentoo (Must be very experienced)
Those who assist us in testing will get early access to the Zimbra 5.0 code, as well as some Zimbra Gear and a mention on the
Zimbra Blog.
