Default ZCS 3.0 Milestone 3(aka Beta 3) Released

ZCS 3.0 Beta 3 (aka Milestone 3) has been released. You can get the Open Source Edition from the downloads page. The Network Edition is available for a 60 day free trial. Current Network customers or trial participants can get the latest release from the support portal.

New features of the Zimbra Collaboration Suite 3.0 Beta 3 Open Source Edition include: redesign of the filters UI, a one-click "Check Mail" button, the ability to reply to an email and retain attachments, the ability to drag an email to mini-calendar to create an appointment based on the email, wild card searches, a new Outlook PST import utility, and migration from Exchange 5.5 servers. New features of the Network Edition include the ZCS Connector for Outlook (2003) and the ability for a global administrator to delegate domain-level administrators (whose only privileges are managing accounts within a single domain).

FYI: The migration wiziards and PST importer are included in the release now. You can get them from:

https://<zimbra server>/zimbra/downloads/index.html

For Network Edition you'll also find the Outlook Connector there.

I downloaded the FC3 M3 and it seems to be corrupted. I tried 3 different mirrors and two download methods. tar -zxvf gives the following errors:

gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--format violated
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

I downloaded the FC4 M3 and that file is fine.

Default Beta 3 anyone?

Well, as far as I can tell, a new FC3 build has not been posted.
I noticed that 6 people have downloaded it. Are all 6 of us having the same error? Or, did some of you get it to work?
Just wonderin.

Default new version up

I just put up a new version of the file (same file, actually, hopefully just not corrupt this time)

I'm downloading from sf to make sure it's good, too. But it's up there.

Sorry for the flail, and thanks for you patience

Default tests ok

I downloaded and unpacked it, and it seems ok...

BTW - the "a" at the end of the filename is a sourceforge artifact, NOT an indication that it's a different version...
