Default Multiple domains, email aliases

I have two domains. All users receive email from the main.com domain. I have another domain, otherdomain.com, which has one email address associated with it - photos@otherdomain.com. I would like to set up an aliase as follows:

mail sent to photos@otherdomain.com would be sent to user@main.com

Is this possible?

Thanks,

Yes, but is it possible to create an aliase for just one account @domain.com to just one account at @otherdomain.com. I don't just want one account to answer all email from @otherdomain.com and I don't want all accounts to answer email sent to any user @otherdomain.com. For example, with sendmail, you could just add an aliase in the aliase file as photos:user@domain.com

Thanks,

Yes, of course it's possible. Just set-up the new domain and add that alias to one user, voila! Unless I'm missing something in your requirement?

Just add the domain under the Manage Domains in the Zimbra administration interface?

Thanks. I was able to get it working. I thought it would be more complicated than it was!

nope, it's easy
you do need to verify dns records of course
sending an email to that alias from the outside should be a good enough initial check (unless of course your intending to keep it local of course)
