According to RFC 2047 sec 6.1, that's not OK. encoded-words have to be words, not parts of words. We'll try to tackle this at some point (it's filed as bug 5886), but in the meantime it's always a good thing to switch to a standards-compliant mailer!

I have the same problem when I create accounts from zmprov and set, i.e., displayName attribute.
Then, from the Console Administrator I can edit this attribute well.

Why don't insert right this chars from command?
