That bug is still unfixed. (I was mixing it up with another issue.)
Once the bug is fixed, you can download the source from our CVS server and build the server from the latest source. We'll also be doing nightly builds at some point in the near future, but we don't have an exact date for that yet.
Good stuff, dkarp. Thanks very much. Looking forward to M3 or GA.
Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much dkarp.
Hi,
is this bug fixed yet?
I use 4.0.2 and recive emails that aren't showed correctly.
This is one of the header messages I get:
This result in that the whole email is showed with ISO-8859-1 encoding, but should be coded as UTF-8.Code:X-Amavis-Alert: BAD HEADER Non-encoded 8-bit data (char E4 hex): Subject: V\344lkommen till Cr...
Are you having issues with viewing messages using POP3 or via the Web UI?
Its working fine in my email client. But not in the web client. (due to the wrong encoding)
Check the screen shot from the Web client and the original from the file.
I had a similar problem with header encoding and I solved the problem by putting the line
export LANG=de_DE.utf-8
into /opt/zimbra/.bash_profile.
Change de_DE to your country code.
Hi I have the same problem and tried to change .bash_profile w.o. any luck
The post is correctly displayed when it is opened in notepad via right click - show original.
I am running version 4.03 on Centos 4.3
ideas ?
br, Siggi
The same for me.
when no encoding header are included the web ui shows the mail in utf-8 by default, which results in that some chars are not coded correct.
I've also found that when someone has a non ascii char in the from field it results in something like:instead ofCode:L=?ISO-8859-1?B?9g==?=nnroth
Code:Lönnroth
