Constant resynching?

We're having this strange problem using the Outlook connector and Outlook 2003.

We have a 6MB attachment size limit and sometimes when users in outlook send files that are too big they get stuck in the outbox and basically make the email unusable because it keeps trying to send time after time. After we cleared out the email(by going into outlook offline) it now tries to synchronize, then it synchs again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again.

This is located in an outbase(several thousand Kms) and this ties up a ton of bandwidth. Any help would be great.

It's bug 17247 and it's fixed in 4.5.6 which should be available next week.
