Temporary message delivery failure

I'm having the same problem. I dont have a convertd.log and I cant find any similar packages for Debian. The problem doesnt seem to be limited to emails with attachments. I think once an email fails to go through any subsequant emails also fail to be delivered to that mail box

i'm having a big problem with emails ..i get the same 451 message for some emails..it took me a while till i noticed in which cases this happens..and i finally think that i'm able to conclude that emails with attachements sent to a distribution list, or event to multiple addresses are having big chances or getting stuck in the deferred queue with the message :
"status=deferred (host localhost.localdomain.com[192.168.29.5] said: 451 4.0.0 Temporary message delivery failure try again (in reply to end of DATA command)) " . This is a big problem for our mail system because we really must be able to send and receive emails with attachments .. i'm running Release 4.5.5_GA_838.SuSEES9_20070503173634 on open Suse 9.3 . i also have installed two other zimbra servers on open suse 10.2 (one is network edition and one is open source..and everything seems to work ok there... )
i tried to increase max attachment size with mprov mcf zimbraMtaMaxMessageSize 20480000
but things didn't really changed...today i got a new message stucked in the deffered queue..fifth one in ~ 3 days..

please advise .

i just noticed that all deferred emails are containing zip files as their attachments..my zimbra is NOT set to reject any kind of attachments (zip,exe,bat..etc.) .. so , these zip files should go through .
should i make a new thread for this issue ?
i'm hoping to get an answer asap . thank you

Do you have it set to block encrypted archives?

thanks for the reply jholder . i had this setting enabled and i disabled it now..but the message from the deferred queue i still can't send..i'll wait today to see if it happens again with other messages .. do some tests too and see what happens.

i made some tests .. i sent an email with a zip attachment to one address only..everything good till here.. but when i sent the same email message (with the same zip file as attach..and the file's size it's only 145kb!) to 2 distribution lists we have ... the message got stucked in the deferred queue..
this is really not good for what we need..we rely on these emails and not getting them is a huge problem.. is this a bug ?
